International Verification with GainForest & Ecocerts

Our Kimmi Island restoration work is now independently verified on-chain as a Hypercert — a global standard for transparent climate impact.

We're proud to announce that Green Ambassadors Club has completed third-party ecological verification with GainForest and Ecocerts, and our Kimmi Island restoration is now published as a Hypercert on the global impact registry.

What is a Hypercert?

A Hypercert is a public, on-chain certificate that records who did what impact work, where and when. Funders can trace their contribution to specific restoration outcomes; communities keep credit for their own work.

What was verified

  • Tree survival and canopy regrowth on 14 hectares of restored shoreline.
  • Number of households trained in agroforestry and improved cookstoves.
  • Independently-witnessed community participation and free-prior-informed consent.

Why this matters

Uganda-based, youth-led restoration is now visible on the same registries used by leading international climate funders — opening doors to results-based finance we could not previously access.
